Bill Shaner named 2008 SUPERVALU Champion of Diversity

SUPERVALU is pleased to recognize Bill Shaner, president and chief executive officer of Save-A-Lot, as its 2008 Champion of Diversity. This honor is bestowed upon an associate who actively shows commitment to driving the company's diversity and inclusion efforts in what he or she does each day. Individuals are nominated by associates and the final vote is made by the Corporate Diversity and Inclusion Council.
