Take a Fresh Approach to Learning
Gain access to the inner workings of a multi-unit food store operation by working along side key players on our management leadership team. During our 10-week paid Retail Leader Internship, you will be exposed to the day-to-day challenges in our ever-changing, fast-paced industry. Our comprehensive internship program provides training in areas such as store management & operations, product procurement & merchandising, distribution center operations, market analysis and store design. Additionally, Interns will be required to complete a business analysis project based on real-life challenges Save-A-Lot is facing in its many retail locations.
Internship Structure
- Weekly assignments in various locations to provide insight into how our Store Managers & District Managers lead a single store as well as a multi-unit district of stores
- In-the-field, hands-on learning to ensure a well-rounded learning experience
- Cross-functional departmental exposures
- Interaction with subject matter experts and senior level management to allow greater understanding of the strategic planning in our growing company
- Final project and presentation that focuses on a business & productivity development strategy
