In a saucepan, combine apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon. Cover, and cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until apples are soft. Allow to cool, then mash with a fork or potato masher.

Notes

We had a lot of apples to use up from our apple tree in the front yard so I came up with this recipe. That was great for the little kids and really easy to make. You can always double or even triple the recipe to make more.

Using Solo sweetener instead of sugar is a great way to reduce my kid's and my sugar intake. It also satisfies our sweet tooth!

This sounded pretty yummy to me since I love homemade applesause... So I decided to make it the otehr night I had my 6 year old son measure items out and I did the hot stuff... It was very good and was not expensive to make.. thank you for the great work Save A Lot...
